By using Pliq, you agree to this policy. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

What We Collect

Information You Provide

Account information: name, email address, and password when signing up, or basic profile data when using third-party sign-in.
Profile information: display name and avatar if you choose to add one.
Payment information: processed and stored entirely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank details.
Content you create: all research, products, pages, and scripts you generate through the platform.
Settings you configure: page settings and any tracking pixel IDs you add to your published pages.
Feedback: ratings and optional comments you submit after using features.

Information Collected Automatically

Usage data: which features you use and how often — used to display your dashboard and manage your plan.
Page analytics: when visitors view your published pages, we collect page views, scroll depth, clicks, time on page, device type, and traffic source. This powers your analytics dashboard.
Lead data: if you enable email capture on your pages, we collect email addresses and optional names from visitors who submit the form. These leads belong to you.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type — standard server logs for security and debugging.

What We Do NOT Collect

Biometric data
Precise location data
Cross-site tracking data
Data from your social media accounts beyond basic sign-in profile info

How We Use Your Data

To provide the service: authenticate you, generate and store your content, configure your pages.
To process payments: your email is shared with our payment provider to manage your subscription.
To show you analytics: visitor data on your published pages is processed for your analytics dashboard.
To improve the platform: aggregated, anonymized usage patterns help us improve. We never sell individual data.
To communicate with you: transactional emails only (password reset, subscription confirmations). No marketing emails unless you opt in.

AI & Content Processing

Your content is processed using AI to generate your research, products, pages, and scripts. Only the input you provide (your topic and relevant context) is used during generation — we do not send your personal details like name, email, or payment info.

Your content is yours: we do not use your generated content to train any AI models, share it with other users, or repurpose it in any way.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest.

Files are stored in secure cloud storage. Your data is isolated to your account — other users cannot access it.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use industry-standard security practices to keep your data safe.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to help run parts of the platform. Each operates under their own privacy policy.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

Your Tracking Pixels

If you add tracking pixel IDs to your pages, those scripts run on your public pages for your visitors. We also collect visitor analytics (views, clicks, scroll depth, time on page) on your published pages to power your analytics dashboard.

You are responsible for your own compliance with those platforms' data policies. Include appropriate disclosures on your pages if required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your published pages do not set cookies from Pliq, but your configured tracking pixels may set their own.

Data Retention

Active account: your data is retained as long as your account is active.
After cancellation: your content remains accessible for 30 days so you can download or export anything. After 30 days, generated content may be deleted.
Published pages: taken offline at the end of your billing period after cancellation.
Account deletion: contact support to request full deletion. We will process within 30 days, except where legally required to retain records.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access: request a copy of your personal data.
Correction: update inaccurate information directly in Settings.
Deletion: request deletion of your account and data.
Export: download your content anytime (PDFs, HTML exports).
Withdraw consent: cancel your subscription at any time.

Children's Privacy

Pliq is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If discovered, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a platform notice.

The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
